Mswitch Creative Hub Joins AfriLabs Annual Gathering 2025.

Every movement begins with a story. For us at Mswitch Creative Hub, that story has always been about empowering Africa’s creative and digital economy to stand tall on the global stage.

This October, our story continues in Nairobi, Kenya at the AfriLabs Annual Gathering 2025, a landmark 10th anniversary edition themed “Africa’s Innovation Future: Policy, Partnerships, and Progress”.

For three days, the United Nations Office at Nairobi will transform into a vibrant convergence of innovators, tech hubs, startups, investors, policymakers, and creatives across 50+ African countries. And right at the heart of it, Mswitch Creative Hub will be lending its voice on the Creative Digital Economy track — because we believe that Africa’s creativity is an infrastructure for innovation and impact.

Why This Gathering Matters

The African creative economy is valued at nearly $59 billion yet represents less than 3% of the $2 trillion global creative economy. At Mswitch Creative Hub, we know this is not a gap, it’s an untapped horizon, this is why we created the StoryXLab Program. The conversations at AAG 2025 will shape policy frameworks, public-private partnerships, and cross-border collaborations that can unlock this potential.

For us, this conference is a call-to-action to shape how creativity and digital innovation intersect with policy and progress, and to ensure African storytellers, innovators, and creators have a seat at the table.

Our Role

By engaging in the Creative Digital Economy track, we’ll spotlight how storytelling is not just communication, it is currency in the innovation marketplace.

We’ll be sharing insights on:

  • How creative hubs can drive measurable progress.
  • The power of storytelling in scaling startups and innovations.

Looking Ahead

From Accra to Cairo, from Kigali to Cape Town, The AfriLabs Gatherings have built a legacy of convening innovators who refuse to dream small. As the baton passes to Nairobi, we are proud to carry our story and our voice into the future.

We invite you to follow our journey as we represent Nigeria and the wider creative ecosystem at AAG 2025.

Stay tuned as we share highlights, insights, and stories live from Nairobi, Kenya!
